Foods I Fundamentals Overview
Foods I Fundamentals has something for everyone!  This course examines the nutritional needs of the individual. Emphasis is placed on the relationship of diet to health, kitchen and meal management, food preparation and sustainability for a global society, and time and resource management.  The first half of the course focuses on food safety and basic culinary skills; and the last half focuses on how to make healthy food choices and meal planning.  See the course outline below for more details.
