ACRHS musicals between the years of 1994 and 2004 were performed “on the road." The Performing Arts Center opened in the fall of 2004, and the first musical “at home” was Les Miserables. In 2007, on opening night of Fiddler on the Roof, Superintendent of Schools Cliff Dodson announced that the building would be named in honor of William D. Bryant, Janis Dellinger Bryant and John P. McAfee.
 
Musicals from 1994 - 2012 were conducted by Dr. William Bryant and were under the musical direction of Mrs. Janis Bryant.

Musicals from 2013 to the present were musically directed and conducted by Mr. Phillip Haynie with orchestration instruction by Mr. Sean Smith.
