Drivers Education Classes held at Reynolds HS

Dates: July 8, 9, 10, 11 and 15
Hours:  8:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Attendance: Attendance everyday is mandatory and leaving early everyday is also not permitted.

Requirement: Students must be at least 14 1/2 on the first day of class (DOB on or before 1/8/2005)

Materials:  a folder with 40 sheets of paper or a one subject composition book, a highlighter and something to write with.

Driver’s Education Classes Held Online Through WRESA

This course will cover the state and national standards required for drivers’ education.  The instructor will monitor progress and be available to assist with questions.  The course will be self-paced, but must be completed within the four week window.  Successful completion of the course requirements will result in the student receiving the paperwork necessary for the driving portion of drivers’ education.  This paperwork can be presented to the local school contact or appropriate private contact.

Students must be in grades 9-12 and 14.5 years of age before enrolling in this course. The student will receive access to the course within 2-5 business days.    The cost for the course is $60, and payments can be made through PayPal.  This course is open to students in the WRESA service area.  This includes the following counties:  Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, and Yancey.
