ELIGIBILITY FOR ATHLETICS
In order to play on an athletic team at A. C. Reynolds High School, a student must pass three (3) subjects the preceding term. He/she must reside in or be assigned to the A C Reynolds school district by the Buncombe County Board of Education.
Sportsmanship and fair play must be followed at all times. Violations noted by a coach, official , or administrator will result in a temporary or permanent suspension of participation.
Any student athlete who, during the school year, consumes alcoholic beverages or uses a controlled substance (illicit drug), as defined in North Carolina General Statute 90-87 without a medical prescription, shall lose his/her eligibility in all interscholastic athletic programs of this school system for a period of time. Buncombe County board Policy 4351 will be followed.
