I
moved recently to the Asheville area after living most of my life in
Raleigh. I graduated from Appalachian State with an English degree, and
I am presently working on my ESL degree from N.C. State University.
I
have been teaching English for the past 20 years, grades 9-12, and
several electives such as SAT Prep and Shakespeare. Teaching, reading,
writing, and enjoying my family (my husband and two daughters) and
exercising my overzealous golden retriever, Daisy, occupy much of my
energy and time; however, the place that I feel most at home is in the
garden.
