About Me

I'm an Asheville transplant, originally from Northern Virginia, and have lived all over the east coast from Virginia Beach, to Philadelphia to NJ. I began my teaching career in Philadelphia and relocated to Asheville in 2016 with my husband. I'm a Hokie, so I'm happy to be closer to my alma mater for football games. My husband and I love traveling and are avid sports fans (visiting every MLB stadium is on our bucket list. We've been to15 so far!).
One of my jobs as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside with them to maximize it. I want students to leave my classroom feeling confident that they can apply what they’ve learned in school to real-life situations. I hope that they feel challenged and they have an enhanced passion for learning.
