Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) David Wise

I am a 22+ year veteran of the United States Army.  Commissioned as a Field Artillery officer upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1994, I served in various company grade leadership positions in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at Ft. Bliss, TX and Ft. Carson, CO.

Upon Completion of the US Army Special Forces Qualification Course in 1999, I served in various command and staff positions within the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Ft. Campbell, KY and the JFK Special Warfare Center and School at Ft, Bragg, NC.  I also served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science for the ROTC program at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX where I was recognized as Cadet Command’s officer instructor of the year in 2005.  During my career, I have participated in several combat and training deployments throughout the Middle East and Europe.

As a product of a JROTC program myself, I believe strongly in what the program has to offer.  I am passionate about teaching leadership and citizenship and mentoring our students in their future success and excited to be here at A.C. Reynolds.
