The world was their stage - and office -  as A.C. Reynolds juniors Titus Fore and Jack Couzins competed with marketing students from around the globe at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando.

The students presented in Travel/Tourism Team Decision Making, and were recognized for their achievement at the North Carolina chapter conference convened at the international event. Jack and Titus earned spots at ICDC for their top performance at the state DECA conference in Greensboro last February.

While in Orlando, students also networked with industry leaders and college recruiters, to help plan a pathway to careers from hospitality management to sports broadcasting and beyond. Their advisors, Ken Ulmer and Stephanie Scott-Gaddy helped manage events, judged competitions, and attended professional development sessions to help DECA students thrive in the school year ahead.

There was also a little time to ditch the office attire and play tourist during DECA Night at Universal Studios-Orlando.
