The Grateful Village Holiday Give Back is almost here, and we’re ready to make this event unforgettable—with your help! Join us in creating a meaningful holiday season for families affected by Hurricane Helene in partnership with Chances for Children Carolinas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to empowering and supporting families in Western North Carolina.
Here’s how you can make an impact:
1. Apply for Shopping Vouchers – If You Need Assistance
If you or someone you know has been affected and could use extra support this season, please apply for shopping vouchers. These vouchers provide families with access to holiday gifts and essentials at the event free of charge, thanks to the support of Chances for Children Carolinas.
2. Volunteer Your Time!
Help us bring holiday magic to life! We’re looking for volunteers to assist with setup, greet and help shoppers, and work the gift-wrapping station. This is a perfect opportunity to give back to your community in a meaningful way.
3. Donate New & Gift-Quality Items
If you have new or high-quality giftable items, please consider donating them! Drop-off times are Nov 18-20 from 11 AM - 2 PM at the Fairview Community Center. If those times don’t work, let us know, and we’ll coordinate with you!
