The women’s basketball coach for A.C. Reynolds High School has scored a statewide honor. The North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association has named Coach Amanda Whitaker as a Point Guard College Transformational Coach of the Year.
Each year, the association selects one women’s and one men’s coach who have had transformational impacts on the lives of their players, and have been a positive force in their schools and communities.
For achieving the honor, Coach Whitaker receives a tuition-free opportunity to attend any PGC Coaching Clinic event. Congratulations, Coach Whit!
