The deadline to OPT-IN for a Buncombe County Public Library card has been extended to Dec. 15! Complete this Public Library Card Request Form to Opt-In. It’s free, and will give your child access to the public library system, including the NC Kids Digital Library. A separate form must be filled out for each child. You’ll need your child’s User ID (known as their lunch number), which can be obtained from their teacher if the child doesn’t know it.
Note: In previous years students were automatically enrolled unless parents opted-out; now, an opt-in is required.
