California dreamin’ will be a reality for six A.C. Reynolds DECA students, following the NC DECA Career Development Conference in Greensboro.
The group earned the opportunity to participate in DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California. Nathan Burgin and Michael Morris received a coveted DECA glass award, finishing 2nd in North Carolina in Entrepreneurship Team Decision. Reynolds competitors Jack Couzins and Titus Fore finished 4th in the state for Travel and Tourism Team Decision Making. Both teams will now compete with students from across the nation and around the world.
Bryce Clark and Cayden Rejzer earned spots in the ICDC Thrive Academy. Those students participated in outreach campaigns including reading to elementary students and the BE THE CHANGE coin drive for the American Cancer Society. They’ll take part in a leadership academy led by world-renowned professionals.
The ACR DECA delegation will be in California from April 26 through May 1.
